"It was a clean card, which was not necessarily what I expected," Taylor remarked. "But it was nice to keep it as simple as possible."
Griffin's Consistent Play
Griffin, on the other hand, benefited from a softer Muirfield Village in the afternoon. His round included 16 pars, a birdie, and a bogey, showcasing his consistency. "The course was playing tough, but I managed to keep it together," Griffin said.

With the rough at Muirfield Village proving to be a formidable challenge, players are already eyeing the upcoming U.S. Open at Oakmont. "The rough is almost second-to-none," Taylor noted. "It’s a great preparation for Oakmont."
As the tournament progresses, all eyes will be on Taylor and Griffin to see if they can maintain their lead and claim the coveted Memorial title.
