Top Rank Boxing presents an electrifying main event as WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr. defends his title against Japanese contender Jin Sasaki. The fight is set to take place at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo and will be streamed live on ESPN+ and Disney+.

Brian Norman Jr.: The Rising Star

Brian Norman Jr. (27-0, 21 KOs), the youngest men's world champion in boxing, is making his second title defense. The 24-year-old from Decatur, Georgia, earned a third-round TKO over Derrieck Cuevas on March 29 to retain his belt. Norman initially grabbed the WBO interim title by upsetting Giovani Santillan in May 2024. Currently, ESPN ranks him as the second-best welterweight behind Jaron Ennis.

Jin Sasaki: The Japanese Contender

Jin Sasaki (19-1-1, 17 KOs) has been unbeaten in nine fights since moving up to welterweight. His last fight was a unanimous decision victory over Shoki Sakai in January, marking the first time he went the full 12 rounds in his career. Sasaki is ESPN's seventh-ranked welterweight and is eager to make a statement against Norman.

Co-Feature: IBF Junior Flyweight Title

In the co-feature, Cristian Araneta (25-2, 20 KOs) and Thanongsak Simsri (38-1, 34 KOs) will face off for the vacant IBF junior flyweight title. This promises to be an action-packed bout between two highly skilled fighters.
