Broadway Boy's Grand National Fall and Recovery
Broadway Boy fell in the Grand National but is on the road to recovery.

Broadway Boy, trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies in Gloucestershire, was leading the Grand National when he suffered a heavy fall at Valentine's Brook on the second circuit. The horse is now set to return home, and his welfare is the top priority. Vets at Aintree did a great job, and those caring for him were fantastic. Meanwhile, Celebre D'Allen, another horse involved, is also showing positive signs of recovery. Nick Scholfield has announced his retirement after pulling up his mount in the race.
