Referees to Embrace Bodycams in Club World Cup for Enhanced Experience
Referees will wear bodycams at the Club World Cup, offering a new viewing experience.

Referees will wear bodycams at this summer's Club World Cup. The footage will be available to broadcasters during the 32-team competition in the United States. Pierluigi Collina, chairman of the Fifa referees committee, stated that it's a great opportunity to provide viewers with a novel perspective. Jarred Gillett was the first to wear a bodycam in a Premier League game in 2024. Chelsea and Manchester City are among the Premier League teams competing in the Club World Cup from 15 June to 13 July.
