Gabby Cantorna Extends Stay with Exeter Chiefs for 2025-26 Premiership Women's Rugby Season

Exeter Chiefs' record-holder Gabby Cantorna signs a new deal, continuing her journey with the team for the 2025-26 Premiership Women's Rugby season.

Exeter Chiefs' star centre, Gabby Cantorna, has committed to the club for the upcoming 2025-26 Premiership Women's Rugby season. The 29-year-old American has been a pivotal figure since the inception of Exeter's women's team in 2020.

Record-Breaking Performance

Cantorna holds the club record for the most points scored, with an impressive tally of 310 points and five tries. Her consistent performance has made her one of the most valuable players in the team.

Leadership and Experience

Interim head coach Steve Salvin highlighted Cantorna's importance, stating, "Gabby is one of our most experienced players and her points tally speaks for itself. She is one of the founding players, and it's crucial to have that experience as we develop our team this season."

International Career

Cantorna has earned 30 caps for the United States since her debut in 2018 and represented her country at the 2021 World Cup in New Zealand. Her international experience brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the Exeter Chiefs.

A Home Away from Home

Expressing her love for the club, Cantorna said, "This club is more than a team, it's home. The support from the fans, the love I have for the community, and the bonds in this group mean everything to me. I'm excited to be staying put, and I can't wait for what's next."

Looking Ahead

With Cantorna's new deal, Exeter Chiefs are poised to strengthen their position in the Premiership Women's Rugby. Fans can look forward to more stellar performances from their record-holding centre.
