Pete Wilkins has resigned as the head coach of Connacht with a heavy heart. The French side Racing 92 emerged victorious in a thrilling 43-40 Challenge Cup match in Galway. Wilkins spent eight years at Connacht and became head coach in 2023. He joined in 2017 as a defence coach and later held other roles. Cullie Tucker will serve as interim head coach for the rest of the season, and the search for a new coach begins. David Humphreys praised Wilkins for his contributions.
