Gloucester has agreed a deal to sign Newcastle full-back Ben Redshaw for the 2025-26 Premiership Rugby season. The 20-year-old England youth international has an impressive record. He made his Newcastle debut early last season and has played eight Premiership games this season. He was part of the England Under-20s side that won the Under 20 World Cup last year and also spent time at the England senior side's pre-World Cup training camp in 2023. Gloucester director of rugby George Skivington praised him, saying he is a great signing with all the physical attributes needed. However, Redshaw's departure is the latest for troubled Newcastle.
