Toyota's Dominance and Evans' Third Place in Canaries Rally

Toyota dominated the Rally Islas Canarias. Elfyn Evans finished third.

Toyota delivered a spectacular performance in the inaugural Rally Islas Canarias, claiming the top four places. The 2022 and 2023 WRC champion Kalle Rovanpera emerged as the winner, while Sebastien Ogier took second and Elfyn Evans ended up in third. Despite this, Evans, who had won the previous two rallies, expressed frustration with his lowest finish of the season. Belgian Thierry Neuville struggled for grip, and Sami Pajari crashed out on Saturday. The next round is Rally de Portugal from 15-18 May.
