New Cricket Ireland Stadium: A Dream in the Making
Plans for a new Cricket Ireland stadium in Dublin have been lodged, promising great things.

The excitement is building for Cricket Ireland!
Planning and digital renders for a new stadium and high performance centre have been submitted by Sport Ireland. The proposed stadium will have a floodlit area with 4,240 seated spectators and a two-story pavilion. There's also a proposal for 7,760 non-permanent seats, raising the total capacity to 12,000 for special events.
The Irish government gave the green light for the development in August, aiming for completion in 2028. Cricket Ireland officials drew inspiration from stadiums in New Zealand and the UK. The stadium will be located at the Sport Ireland campus in Blanchardstown.
Ireland's cricket teams currently use various grounds for international matches.
