Michael Appleton signs a two-year deal as Shrewsbury Town's head coach.
Michael Appleton, the 49-year-old, has signed a two-year contract as the permanent manager of Shrewsbury Town. Despite not saving the club from relegation to League Two, his ability and plans for the future have convinced the club to keep him. His assistant, Richard O'Donnell, will also stay. The team concludes their League One campaign this Saturday.
