Neco Williams Commits Future to Nottingham Forest with New Four-Year Contract
Neco Williams signs a new four-year deal with Nottingham Forest, securing his future at the club until 2029.

Nottingham Forest defender Neco Williams has officially signed a new four-year contract, ensuring his stay at the City Ground until the summer of 2029. The 24-year-old Wales international, who joined Forest in July 2022 from Liverpool for a fee of £17 million, has already made 107 appearances across all competitions for the club.
Williams, whose previous contract was set to expire in 2026, played a pivotal role in helping Forest secure a seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season. This achievement marked the club's return to European competition for the first time since the 1994-95 season, when they finished third.
"This club has come so far in recent years, and I am proud to be part of this journey," Williams stated. "Everyone knows how ambitious our owner [Evangelos Marinakis] is, and I'm grateful to him for showing belief in me and in the club. The future is exciting, and it's a privilege to play for a football club with fans like the Forest fans. We are all looking forward to those European nights at the City Ground, and as a team, we want to create more memories for everyone connected to Forest."
Williams' commitment to Forest is a significant boost for the club as they aim to build on their recent success and continue their upward trajectory in both domestic and European competitions. His experience and leadership on the field will be crucial as Forest looks to solidify their position in the Premier League and make a mark in European football.
