Saracens Strengthen Squad with Omokhuale & Royer as Corrigan Extends Stay
Saracens bolster their roster with the signings of Julia Omokhuale and Laetitia Royer, while Alysha Corrigan commits to a new deal.

New Additions to Saracens
Saracens have made significant strides in strengthening their squad with the acquisition of Julia Omokhuale and Laetitia Royer. Both players bring a wealth of experience and talent to the team, promising to elevate Saracens' performance in the upcoming season.
Julia Omokhuale
Julia Omokhuale, a versatile 23-year-old, joins Saracens from Leicester Tigers. Known for her ability to play in both the second and back row, Omokhuale has already made a mark in Premiership Women's Rugby, scoring three tries in 12 appearances last season. She has also represented her country in both sevens and XVs formats.
"I'm thrilled to be joining Saracens at a really exciting time for the club," Omokhuale said. "I already know a lot of the group and the environment feels like the right fit for me. I'm excited to continue learning and developing alongside a great group of players and staff."
Laetitia Royer
Laetitia Royer, 34, brings a wealth of experience from her five years in France, where she played for Lons Section Paloise and ASM Romagnat. Royer is eager to embrace a new league and way of life with Saracens.
"I've really enjoyed my time in France, but I'm thrilled to be joining Saracens and embracing a new league and way of life," Royer said. "I'm excited for the new adventure in north London and to play with some new and old friends."
Alysha Corrigan's Commitment
Winger Alysha Corrigan, 23, has also committed to Saracens by signing a new deal. Corrigan rejoined the club before the 2024-25 season and has already made significant contributions, including winning a silver medal at the Paris Olympics with Canada.
"I'm delighted to re-sign for the club - I have loved my time since returning last summer and I can't wait to continue to grow and develop with this exciting squad," Corrigan said.
