Preston North End Secures Odel Offiah in a Major Transfer Deal
Preston North End strengthens their defense with the acquisition of Odel Offiah from Brighton & Hove Albion for a seven-figure fee.

Championship side Preston North End has officially announced the signing of defender Odel Offiah from Brighton & Hove Albion on a four-year deal. The transfer fee, undisclosed but reported to be in the seven-figure range, marks a significant investment in the 22-year-old talent.
Offiah, who spent last season on loan at Blackpool, made 40 League One appearances and scored one goal. His versatility allows him to play both right-back and centre-back, making him a valuable asset for Preston.
Having come through the ranks at Brighton, Offiah has already made six Premier League appearances for the Seagulls. His experience at the top level will undoubtedly bolster Preston's defensive line.
"Speaking to the gaffer [Paul Heckingbottom], I think we saw eye to eye in terms of how I want to develop as a footballer - this is definitely the right place for me," Offiah told Preston's club website.
This signing is Preston's fifth summer acquisition, following the arrivals of Daniel Iversen, Thierry Small, Jordan Thompson, and Pol Valentin. The club is clearly aiming to strengthen its squad for the upcoming Championship season.
Offiah's addition is expected to bring both defensive solidity and young energy to the team, as Preston looks to climb the Championship table and make a push for promotion.
