The Scottish golfer shot a six-under 64, extending his lead to five strokes over his closest competitor, Scottie Scheffler. MacIntyre's round was flawless, featuring six birdies and no bogeys, bringing his total to 14 under par.

MacIntyre expressed his satisfaction with his game, stating, "I've played beautifully the last two days. Yesterday the putter was on fire. Today I felt like my iron play was exceptional. But I've been putting in the work the last couple of weeks to improve on what I was doing since the Wyndham."

Scottie Scheffler, the world number one, remains in contention with a five-under 65, placing him at nine under par. Ludvig Aberg of Sweden is close behind at eight under, while Hideki Matsuyama of Japan is at seven under.
