Vinicius Jr's Real Madrid Journey: Dreams, Achievements, and Future Aspirations

Vinicius Jr reflects on his dream career at Real Madrid, his ambitions for the future, and his thoughts on the Saudi Pro League interest.

Vinicius Jr, the 24-year-old Brazilian forward, is living his dream at Real Madrid. Despite rumors linking him to the Saudi Pro League, Vinicius is focused on continuing his legacy at the Spanish giants. He has two years left on his current contract and is eager to renew it soon.

"I am very calm because my contract lasts until 2027 and I hope to renew my contract as soon as possible because I am happy here," Vinicius said. "I am living the dream of playing with the best players in the world, the best coach, the best president, the best fans. Here everybody loves me so much. I couldn't be in a better place."

Since joining Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018, Vinicius has won three La Liga titles and the Champions League twice. He has also scored 102 goals in 300 appearances for the club. As Real Madrid prepares to defend their European crown against Atletico Madrid, Vinicius remains focused on adding more silverware to his collection.

"My childhood dream was to make it here," he added. "Now I have managed to make it to here, I am writing my story. I have won but I can still win much more and make it into the history of the club."

Despite the speculation, Vinicius remains unfazed by the Saudi Pro League interest. He is more concerned with evolving into a Real Madrid legend. "Many good players have been here, legends, and I want to be just like them," he said.

Vinicius recently won the FIFA Best men's player of the year award in 2024 and narrowly missed out on the Ballon d'Or to Manchester City's Rodri. Real Madrid chose to boycott the Ballon d'Or ceremony, citing a lack of respect for the club and its players.

"I did what the club told me to do," Vinicius said. "The club asked me to stay in Madrid so I calmly stayed and now we wait for the next one. I have never dreamt about winning the Ballon d'Or but, of course, once you are so close to winning it, you want to win it."

Vinicius is determined to continue his success with Real Madrid. "I am going to have many chances to win other awards and silverware with this club which is more important," he said. "I have won two Champions Leagues so far and I am here to win many more."
