Kristaps Porzingis, a 7ft 2in center, got a bloodied forehead when hit by the stray elbow of Orlando's Goga Bitadze in the third quarter of the Boston Celtics' 109-100 win over the Orlando Magic in game two of the NBA first-round play-offs. The 29-year-old Latvian had to be helped off the court and received medical treatment. He returned in the fourth quarter with a large plaster on his head, scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Celtics' Jaylen Brown hit a game-high 36 points, while Jayson Tatum was ruled out with a wrist injury. In other games, Jimmy Butler sustained a pelvis contusion during the Golden State Warriors' defeat by the Houston Rockets. Donovan Mitchell led the Cleveland Cavaliers to victory over the Miami Heat. Darius Garland added points and assists as the Cavaliers took a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference series.
