Aggie Beever-Jones (England)

Age: 21 Position: Forward Club: Chelsea

Aggie Beever-Jones has quickly risen to prominence in the English football scene. Her versatility and goal-scoring ability have made her a key player for Chelsea. In the absence of injured duo Alessia Russo and Ella Toone, Beever-Jones seized her opportunity, scoring a 33-minute hat-trick against Portugal. Former England goalkeeper Karen Bardsley praised her movement and goalscoring prowess, stating, "She is a true goalscorer, putting herself about, making a nuisance of herself." Beever-Jones was Chelsea's top goal-scorer in the WSL last season with nine goals and also claimed the winner in their FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool.

Carrie Jones (Wales)

Age: 21 Position: Midfielder Club: IFK Norrkoping

Carrie Jones is a versatile forward who has already made a significant impact on the Welsh national team. Despite her young age, she has been an international footballer for six years, making her Wales debut at 15. Jones has played in the WSL with Manchester United, Leicester City, and Bristol City before moving to Swedish side IFK Norrkoping in 2024. Former Wales international Gwennan Harries tipped Jones to be "one of Wales' best players over the next 10-20 years," highlighting her composure, work ethic, and team spirit.

Salma Paralluelo (Spain)

Age: 21 Position: Midfielder Club: Barcelona

Salma Paralluelo is a former junior champion sprinter and hurdler who has transitioned seamlessly into football. She was a key member of Spain's 2023 World Cup-winning squad, starting five of their seven matches and scoring in the quarter and semi-finals. Paralluelo has won the Nations League and is a two-time Champions League winner with Barcelona. Despite taking a break after the Olympics due to mental and physical exhaustion, she remains a key attacking threat for Spain.

Wieke Kaptein (Netherlands)

Age: 19 Position: Midfielder Club: Chelsea

Wieke Kaptein has already won multiple domestic trophies with FC Twente and Chelsea. During the 2024-25 campaign, she forced her way into Chelsea's star-studded XI, starting seven of their 10 Champions League games. Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor praised Kaptein's work rate, stating, "She brings a lot of quality out of possession. She is really confident but also works hard off the ball." Kaptein made history as the youngest player to represent the Netherlands at a Women's World Cup.

Franziska Kett (Germany)

Age: 20 Position: Defender Club: Bayern Munich

Franziska Kett is a dynamic defender who has quickly risen through the ranks at Bayern Munich. She made her debut for Bayern in 2022 and has since featured in both the Frauen-Bundesliga and Women's Champions League. Kett was named in the team of the tournament at the 2023 Under-19 European Championships and made her senior debut for Germany in April 2025. National team head coach Christian Wuck described her as a player who provides a great deal of dynamism with her explosive style of play.

Sydney Schertenleib (Switzerland)

Age: 18 Position: Midfielder Club: Barcelona

Sydney Schertenleib has quickly established herself as a first-team regular at Barcelona since moving from Grasshopper Zurich last summer. She has started all but two of Barcelona's league matches since the beginning of March and came off the bench in both legs of their Champions League quarter-final against Wolfsburg. Switzerland boss Pia Sundhage has preferred to use her as a right-sided striker, yielding two goals in her first 10 appearances. Playing on home soil, Schertenleib is set to make a significant impact at Euro 2025.

Alice Sombath (France)

Age: 21 Position: Defender Club: Lyon

Alice Sombath is one of the promising young French defenders looking to capitalize on the omission of Wendie Renard from the squad for the Euros. She joined Lyon aged 16 from Paris St-Germain and made her senior debut alongside club legend Renard. Former Lyon manager Joe Montemurro said, "I think she's going to become a special player. She has all the qualities to become a top defender." Sombath made her France debut in November and was paired alongside new captain Griedge Mbock in France's 4-0 win over Switzerland in May.
