Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid have once again demonstrated their prowess on the court by advancing to the semi-finals of the Wimbledon 2025 wheelchair doubles tournament. The British duo, who are the two-time defending champions, started their campaign with a decisive victory over Takuya Miki of Japan and Casey Ratzlaff of the United States, winning 6-3, 6-2.

Their partnership has been nothing short of spectacular, having already secured 22 major titles, including six at the All England Club. Hewett, who boasts 10 Grand Slam singles titles, and Reid, with 2 Grand Slam singles titles, continue to be a formidable force in wheelchair tennis.

Both players are also set to continue their singles campaigns on Thursday. Hewett, the defending champion, will face Ji Zhenxu of China, while Reid is up against the Argentine fourth seed, Gustavo Fernandez.

In other news, another British pair, Ben Bartram and Dahnon Ward, are scheduled to compete in the quarter-finals later on Wednesday.
