Littler's performance was nothing short of impressive, as he dominated from the start, winning the first four legs in just 48 darts. He maintained a stellar average of 108.92 and achieved a 52.6% checkout rate, leaving Searle, ranked 19th in the world, struggling to keep up.

"I felt very comfortable out there," Littler shared with Sky Sports. "I was well prepared for tonight, and I'm thrilled to have secured the win. It's a great feeling."

In the last 16, Littler will face Dutchman Jermaine Wattimena, who narrowly defeated 2021 champion Peter Wright 10-8.
