Twins' Darting Dreams: Inspired by Luke Littler's Historic Win
Identical twins Harry and Alfie from Devon are chasing their dream of becoming professional darts players, inspired by Luke Littler's historic PDC World Championship win.

The Rise of Youth Darts
Identical twins Harry and Alfie from Devon have been inspired to pursue professional darts after witnessing Luke Littler's historic win at the PDC World Championship in January 2024. The teenagers, who previously had no interest in the sport, now dedicate up to six hours a day practicing their throws.
A Life-Changing Experience
"It's been pretty much life-changing, I'd say," Harry shared. The twins joined the Teignbridge Darts Academy in Newton Abbot, one of seven darts clubs established in Devon in 2024. Alfie added, "I never really thought of playing darts before, and then I saw him on TV and thought, 'Why not?'"
The Growth of Teignbridge Darts Academy
The Teignbridge Darts Academy has seen significant growth, tripling in size over the past 12 months. The academy now coaches 60 children aged between six and 18. Chairman Jon Bush expressed his pride in the venue and the achievements of the young players.
Expanding Darts Clubs Across Devon
Darts clubs have also been set up in Brixham, Exeter, Exmouth, Cullompton, Paignton, Plymouth, and Newton Abbot. Secretary Lucas Hill reflected on his own journey, saying, "When I was a youngster I never had anything like this. I started playing darts at the age of 12. Now, being able to help out, and see so many kids do something I couldn't do is just so joyful."
The Future of Darts
With the increasing popularity of darts among the youth, the future of the sport looks bright. The twins' dedication and the support from local clubs are paving the way for the next generation of professional darts players.
